We decided to stay an extra night in Seattle because there were some things that we still wanted to see. We went on the Ride the Duck tour. The tour was a not their ordinary tour because the was the Lions Club parade going on so the duck drivers had to find alternate routes to drive so we didn't get to see their usual route sites.
We went to the EMP(Experience Movie Project) that is near the Space Needle. Some of the stuff in there was interesting. We had lunch at Bambinos which is on 5th Street not too far from the Space Needle. We got a large Bamino and Capriccies pizza. After lunch we took the bus to to see the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks(Ballard Locks). That was cool. We got to see them opening the locks so the boats could pass through. We got to see the salmon ladders. There was an underwater room where one could see the salmon swimming upstream to their spawning grounds.
It seemed like we spent a lot of time waiting for or riding the bus. We ate dinner at Hamburger Harry's which was OK. I had a spinach salad that was OK, hubby got spaghetti and the boy got a cheeseburger which he said was good.
