Lunar Tide

Today was my son’s last day of school. This year sure went by super fast. The class gave the teacher a bowl with the all of the student’s faces on it. Each child drew their faces and the liaison put them on the bowl and then had it fired. My son’s teacher loved the bowl. It is a very cool bowl.

Every year the PTO has an end of the school year hot dog lunch for all the students, staff and teachers. I have been helping serve the hot dog lunch since my son was in Kindergarten. I enjoy serving the students, staff and teachers. I like seeing all of the kids from K-Seventh come through the line to get their lunch. The students look forward to it. We served hot dogs, chips, watermelon, frozen juice bars, fruit slushy, apples and milk.

After school one of my son’s friends had his 2nd annual ice cream social. This year they had it at a little park. Last year they had it at their house. It was supposed to be at his house this year but they were having plumbing problems so they had to change it to the park. It was a fun afternoon. The kids got some ice cream and got to the play in the park.
