Blue and Gold Banquet

Last night was the boys Cub Scout Blue and Gold banquet. Our den was in charge of decorating the room so hubby, the boy and I went early to decorate the room. The rest of our den couldn't come early to help decorate so I went and picked up the decorations that they had bought for us. The theme this year was "Americana" food from around the US. It is also the packs 40th Birthday. We dressed up the tables with Blue and Gold tables clothes, the walls with Blue and Gold streamers and balloons. There was some good food. Every den provided appetizers and drinks. The Webelos cooked the meal which was Southwestern salad, pulled pork sandwiches, blackened salmon, rice, fruit salad, roasted red potatoes and Mac and cheese. For dessert there was birthday cake which was black and white with custard in the middle.

  1. I use to go to those banquets all the time with my brother. I loved seeing the look on those young bows faces and what they accomplished.
