Today was my son's Opening Day parade. All of the soccer teams line up with their banners and parade around the field. They go by age division. It was a nice day. It was sunny and warm. We were all melting in the heat. It is always fun looking at all of the soccer banners. Each team is assigned jersey colors and the team gets to choose their team name and purchase a banner. After the parade the team had pictures so we had to stick around for about an hour or so. The coach checked in early so the team early. They had hot dogs, nachos and drinks for sale so we bought something to eat since it was time for lunch. We saw a lot of people we knew at the parade. Soccer is really big in our town. A lot of the kids play soccer. Next week is their first game. I think we had coolest banner.
