Getting Into Shape

Last week I started Cardio Strength training. I haven't exercised in a longggggggggggggg time. I haven't done any weights just the little bit you get in an Aerobics class. I started last Wednesday and Thursday I was so sore. It felt better to just sit in my chair and not get up. Everytime I got up to walk my thighs would quiver. It hurt to walk up and down the stairs. I couldn't workout on Friday. I worked out this morning and I was dying. I think I am really going to be sore tomorrow. It sort of felt good though. I don't have any endurance yet. The trainer says it will take about 3 weeks to get over the hump of my body saying it doesn't want to workout! LOL I sure hope so because it is screaming pretty loudly to stop the madness. My arms are feeling a little sore today so I can imagine what tomorrow will be like. I used to go to Aerobics classes, walk and ride my bike. Now I don't do anything so I decided to get into better shape. I also am trying to loose weight. I want to be healthier so I am exercising and eating healthier. I have lost some weight but I have a long to go before I am healthier and feeling better. One day at a time. Now that I have started I will keeping plugging away at it. I am working out with a nice group of ladies who are very supportive. The trainer and the ladies in the class encourage and are very supportive of each other. The atmosphere is laid back and we all just do our own thing and not worry about what everyone else is doing.

  3. keep up the great work, we're talking about food and you are working your butt off!

I read something on a weight loss site a while ago, that I found particularly useful... visualise every bead of sweat as a glob of fat leaving your body, get crackin'
