Today was my son's First Day of School. He is in 5th grade. We walked to school this morning because we knew the parking would be scarce. When we got to the playground we saw a sea of parents. There were a lot of people there. We navigated to the far side of the playground were his grade would be lining up. We finally found some of his friends. It was nice to see the other mom's there. I said hello to some of his past teachers. When I picked him up after school he said he had a good day and that he liked his teacher. She gave them some homework to do and some paperwork for the parents to sign and fill out. He was happy his best friend is in his class this year.
