Nature Photo Walk

My son and I went on a "Nature Photo Walk" at San Pedro Valley Park. We saw lots of nice flowers. We walked on the nature trail which crosses a small bridge that goes over the creek. The walk makes a half circle around. Then we walked up the Old Trout trail a bit. We saw some wild sweet peas, a ladybug on a flower stem, a butterfly that landed on the trail and posed for us. Interesting flowers, a cool spider web that looked like it was made out of plastic. In the meadow we saw wild bunny rabbits and some quail. We both had a fun and interesting walk. My son enjoyed taking pictures with his camera. He just has a point and shoot camera so he couldn't zoom in some of the things. We need to get him more memory. He filled up his memory card pretty quick. Tomorrow we are going walking along the beach trail to the beach and take pictures on the beach.

  1. This was wonderful! I think it is great that you are taking the time to help your son appreciate nature! It is so important to do this when they are young.
