10th Wedding Anniversary

Today is my 10th Wedding Anniversary. I booked a room at the Old Thyme Inn in Half Moon Bay. We stayed here on our wedding night in the Garden Room so I booked the Garden Room. I booked it the end of last year to make sure we got the room. The room is really nice with a jacuzzi bath. The Inn has a really nice garden. The Inn keepers are the same ones 10 years ago. We made a reservation for dinner at Mezza Luna in Princeton, a few miles away from Half Moon Bay. We had some sparkling wine to start. It was really good. I had the "Agnello Scottadito" (lamb chops grilled and served in a marinated Italian herb sauce). OH my gosh, it was awesome. They served it with 4 chops, some broccoli and potatoes shaped like half moons. The lamb melted in your mouth. The broccoli was just right and the potatoes were perfect. My husband got "Zuppa del Pescatore" fresh assorted seafood sauteed in white wine, tomato and saffron broth. My husband said it was really good. For dessert we got "Bocconcini con Crema" creme puffs filled with custard and dipped in dark chocolate and vanilla "Gelato". The desserts were really yummy, too. The Gelato was perfect with the Cappuccino. We drove home to get our computers. LOL And now we are sitting with 2 laptops back to back typing away. Maybe we can IM each other???? But I think we will try the jacuzzi. :)

UPDATE: The jacuzzi was wonderful.

  2. Happy anniversary. What a spectacular way to spend it. Pan made reservations for our 10th too (many years ago) at the same hotel we stayed out when we got married; but had to cancel when work got in the way. Maybe one day soon. In the meantime, you two enjoy yourselves and that jacuzzi.
