I have been working as an aide with a boy whose has some vision impairment. I started this last Monday. His regular aide had to go out of town for family business so I am filling in for her for 2 weeks. I was glad she was there on Monday to show me what she does and what I needed to do. So I just observed while she worked with him. It has been going good. He has so much energy and is a sweet kid. I had a prior commitment today so yesterday I told him I would not be there with him tomorrow. He gave me a hug when it was time for me to go home. That was so sweet. I told him I would see him on Friday so he knew that I was coming back.
