A couple of weeks ago I borrowed a "Knitting for Dummies" book from the library and taught myself to knit. I made a purse, a scarf for my son and a scarf for my hubby. Now I want to make something else so I will need to go to the yarn shop to get more yarn. lol I find it relaxing to knit while I am watching TV. My mom tried to teach me how to knit when I was younger and I just could not get it. I would always drop my stitches so I got frustrated and learned how to crochet instead. I'm enjoying knitting and want to make some other things. After seeing my hubby's scarf my girlfriend wants me to make her a scarf. There are a lot of things you can knit and a lot of patterns.
