Well we survived hosting Christmas dinner for my family. Getting ready for a party is tiring. Hosting Christmas is a lot of work--cleaning, grocery shopping, preparing the house and cooking. The food was good. We have lots of leftovers. We had a smaller group this year. Not of all of my siblings were here. We usually switch off hosting Christmas so one of us doesn’t have to do it every year. My son has been excited about Christmas for weeks. He has been counting down to Christmas with his advent calendar. He told Santa to surprise him! That is too cute. All in all it was a good day.
