Dinner For Two

The boy went to a Giants baseball game with his friend. He was so excited to go. He loves going to baseball games. They lost though but he said it was a good game and he had fun. While he was at the game hubby and I went out to dinner. Our neighbor gave us a gift certificate for a local restaurant so we used the gift certificate. We had a nice dinner out. We don't get to go out to dinner together very often. We usually go to a fast food restaurant. I had a New York Niman Ranch steak with green beans and a baked potato but they put sour cream on the potato and I can't have sour cream so I sent it back. They didn't have anymore baked potatoes so they gave me the roasted potatoes instead which worked out. Hubby got the halibut with zucchini and clams in a spicy tomato sauce. Both dishes were yummy. We split a chocolate cake with gelato for dessert. The cake was a small molten chocolate cake with vanilla gelato in an edible shell. It was very good.
