Hot Day

Whew it was a hot day by the coast today. Unseasonably warm for April. Hubby went to the dentist today so he came home early. He chipped his tooth so he needs a crown for it but they can't start the work until Thursday. We had lunch together and later in the afternoon we picked up the boy from school. The boy had a "Reading Relay" practice after school because he is reading tomorrow night at the "Reading Relay". The students are reading a poem called "Joyful Noise" by Paul Fleischman. I forgot he was supposed to go to the practice until my friend reminded me. After that he had Junior Olympics practice. It was really hot out during practice. So he only got to practice for a half hour. The parent volunteer who is the coach brought the kids Popsicle's that they got after practice. It was nice having hubby home during the day.
