We had a busy weekend. My son's last T-ball game was on Saturday morning. The team played very well. They sure have improved since their first game back in March. They are batting very well. There are a couple of them that can throw and catch well. The coach's son made a nice catch when he was playing catcher. He was behind the other team's coach and still caught it. After the game we went home for lunch and then we went to my son's school Carnival. That is always fun. They have booths set up and the kids get tokens for prizes. This year they had a petting zoo and pony rides. They always do a cake walk. I didn't win a cake though. :( There was a dunking booth, two jumpees, a raffle, food, string art, popcorn.
On Sunday, my son's T-ball team had their end of season party at the local pizza parlor. The boys received trophies for participating. There were cupcakes. The boys had a good time. There were a great bunch of kids. Next year my son will move up to the league where they are pitched to by a machine so that will be interesting.
My hubby and I walk every day in the park where they have youth leagues going on and we love to watch the t-ball games and the little guys play. They have so much joy in just playing and haven't learned the major competitiveness yet.
